Sri Krishnadevaraya University had its beginning as the Post Graduate centre of Sri Venkateswara University in the year 1968. It has gained autonomy in the year 1976. Fulfilling the desires of the people of the region, the Autonomous Post Graduate centre was given the status of the University in the Year 1981. Initially, Sri Krishndevaraya University functioned as a unitary residential University. It was conferred the status of an affiliating University in the year 1987. Presently, it is catering to the higher educational needs of the revenue districts of Anantapur and Kurnool. The Post Graduate centre at Kurnool was brought under the jurisdiction of the University in the year 1993.

Counselling Schedule for Admission to D.Ed./D.Ed (Urdu) (2011-13)
On the basis of merit /percentage of marks obtained in 10+2 exam (Course wise, Stream wise and Category wise) the candidates who applied for admission to D.Ed./D.Ed (Urdu) Course 2010-12 and whose application forms were received up to 16.08.2010, will report to the Director, SCERT Haryana, Gurgaon for verification of their eligibility on the dates and time/session mentioned below:

The candidate should bring all the original certificates of classes 10th & 10+2 with the proof of having English passed as one of the subject, two passport size photos, photocopy of application form and all other relevant documents as mentioned in prospectus with photocopies of each.
Morning (Mor.) session will start at 8:00 a.m. and Evening (Eve.) at 2:00 p.m. daily.
Merit/rank list is available on website www.scertharyana.in
However, candidature of the illegible candidates will be rejected.
In case of any dispute, the decision of the counselling committee will be final.
In case, any seat remains vacant in any category, the next counselling will be declared later on.
The candidate (if called in waiting) will be entertained only on the availability of the seats. No claim in this regard will be entertained.
If the seats in PH category remain vacant, the candidates belonging to ESM (self/dependent) and FFD categories will be called later on through Newspapers.
It is made clear that no separate letter/information is being sent/ given to the candidates.

How To Apply
All Candidates may have a prior look at the complete application form and ensure that all the required details are available with them before filling up the online application form.

STEP 1:
For General Candidates / OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Candidates
Note: SC/ST and Physically challenged candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
Download the Triplicate SBI Challan copy. and fill the required details.
* The challan has three parts: An Applicant’s copy
* BHEL copy
* Bank copy
After filling the details in the above challan, it has to be deposited with the fee of Rs. 500/- at any of the SBI branches all over the country.
It may be ensured that the Banker’s Seal / Signature of the signing authority are available on the challan.
On deposit of fee through challan, SBI will allot a unique Journal no. which is to be mentioned in the on-line application form.

STEP 2: (For all candidates)
All eligible candidates are required to fill in the ONLINE application form and submit the same.
* Before online submission, Gen/OBC candidates should have paid the fees and should have the Journal No. given by the Bank as the same would be required to be filled in application form.
* SC / ST, OBC, Physically Challenged, J&K Domiciled candidates and Ex-Servicemen should carefully fill up the respective columns, since these details will not be allowed to be changed later and they will have to send their valid category certificates along with acknowledgement slip.

STEP 3: (For all candidates)
After submitting the application ONLINE, a unique Acknowledgement Number will be allotted to the candidate and he/she will then be required to download two copies of the acknowledgement slip.
* One Copy of acknowledgement slip may be retained by the Candidate.
* Another copy of Acknowledgement Slip, duly signed by the applicant and with his/her recent photograph pasted on the slip along with
* BHEL Challan copy
* Category certificates, if applicable

GUIDELINES ON PRIME MINISTER’S EMPLOYMENT GENERATION PROGRAMME (PMEGP)

1. The Scheme
Government of India has approved the introduction of a new credit linked subsidy programme called Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) by merging the two schemes that were in operation till 31.03.2008 namely Prime Minister’s Rojgar Yojana (PMRY) and Rural Employment Generation Programme (REGP) for generation of employment opportunities through establishment of micro enterprises in rural as well as urban areas. PMEGP will be a central sector scheme to be administered by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MoMSME). The Scheme will be implemented by Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), a statutory organization under the administrative control of the Ministry of MSME as the single nodal agency at the National level. At the State level, the Scheme will be implemented through State KVIC Directorates, State Khadi and Village Industries Boards (KVIBs) and District Industries Centres (DICs) and banks. The Government subsidy under the Scheme will be routed by KVIC through the identified Banks for eventual distribution to the beneficiaries / entrepreneurs in their Bank accounts. The Implementing Agencies, namely KVIC, KVIBs and DICs will associate reputed Non Government Organization (NGOs)/reputed autonomous institutions/Self Help Groups (SHGs)/ National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) / Udyami Mitras empanelled under Rajiv Gandhi Udyami Mitra Yojana (RGUMY), Panchayati Raj institutions and other relevant bodies in the implementation of the Scheme, especially in the area of identification of beneficiaries, of area specific viable projects, and providing training in entrepreneurship development.

Pass class for SC/ST/PWD in Engineering disciplines and Second Class in Post Graduate qualification mentioned at above.
Candidates currently studying in the final semester / final year of BE / B.Tech / B.Sc engineering and MSW/MBA/PG Degree/PG Diploma with specialization in HR (Full Time)and who will be taking their final semester/final year exams in the month of May/June 2010 are also eligible to apply. Candidates who have completed their Engineering Degree /MSW/MBA/PG Degree/PG Diploma with specialization in HR in 2007 & later are only eligible. Candidates who have completed their course prior to 2007 are not eligible.

Research The NCERT performs the important functions of conducting and supporting educational research and offering training in educational research methodology. Different Departments of the National Institute of Education (NIE), Regional Institutes of Education (RIEs), Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET) and Pandit Sunderlal Sharma Central Institute of Vocational Education (PSSCIVE) undertake research programmes on different aspects of school education and teacher education. NCERT also supports research programmes of other institutions/organizations by providing financial assistance and academic guidance. Assistance is given to scholars for publication of their Ph.D. theses. Research fellowships are offered to encourage studies in school education to create a pool of competent research workers.
